First we will have to get sheets of neutral corrugated cardboard, usually brown. Otherwise you could buy already colored, then avoiding having to color them.
There are different types of hearts that we can go to create and decorate; we will examine three of the most common and with a better final effect. The first is the classic heart, without contour. Through a pencil we draw the outline of the heart and with a compass letâs create the two high roundness of the heart. Once the shape is obtained, letâs go over it with a marker.
Once the definitive outline is determined (you can make it as large as you want), we will have to cut it using a cutter, this being much easier and faster to handle on the board, compared to the scissors. Another kind of heart that we can create is the one that contains two wings. We draw again the classic shape of the heart on the cardboard sheet and separately we draw the wings, to be glued later; also in this case the cutting of the wings is preferable to implement it with the cutter.
Classic but very nice is the heart cut out only on the contour (a heart with the hole to be clear). To do this we must be careful to keep the same distance along the entire perimeter border of the design. Take the compass and make the heart on the card. By narrowing the measurement of the compass, we draw another heart within the other. Letâs also use a ruler to make sure you have kept the right distance between one another. Cut them out on the outer sections so as to obtain a cardboard heart only on the perimeter and empty inside. We can combine a twin heart, joining them together or creating a chain with more hearts.
